PATERSON, NJ – Once again expanding their efforts to provide critical support to Paterson families in need, the New Jersey Community Development Corporation, NJCDC, is launching a program to provide monthly boxes of non-perishable food to 500 families across the city.

The boxes of household staples, according to Bob Guarasci, Founder and CEO, are being made available through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) grant the organization was awarded from the City of Paterson to help recipients overcome food shortages while coping with and recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Residents applying must be able to show proof of residency in the City of Paterson, such as a cable, phone, or Internet provider bill, and will be required to also show proof of household income. Applications will be reviewed in the order they are received and can be completed by clicking here.
